Chromeo is a duo from Montreal, Canada. Formed in 2002, the two members of Chromeo are David Macklovitch aka "Dave 1" and Patrick Gemayel aka "P-Thugg". The band combine a mix of genres in their music, notably 70s funk and 80s soft rock. Chromeo came to the world's attention in 2004 with the release of the debut Chromeo album She's in Control. This was followed up by Fancy Footwork (2007) which featured some of the best Chromeo songs like "Bonafied Lovin'" and "Fancy Footwork". For the next Chromeo albums the duo decided to collaborate with some of music's biggest names like Solange on the track "Lost on the Way Home", Toro y Moi on the Chromeo single "Come Alive" and also members of Vampire Weekend and LCD Soundsystem. Chromeo also remixed the Lorde single "Green Light". This is the first official remix that the singer from New Zealand has ever commissioned.
Now, with the official release date for the new Chromeo album Head Over Heels set for June 15, Chromeo are on tour. Don't miss out and get ready to show off your fancy footwork. Buy your Chromeo tour tickets here at StubHub.
