Hatsune Miku is a software sound source that can synthesize singing vocals of a female voice by using a voice synthesis system known as VOCALOID. The name Hatsune Miku, is derived from the Japanese characters for first, sound, and future, laying way for a futuristic meaning of the "first sound from the future.” The songs are provided by various composers with highly regarded voices, such as a smooth high-pitched treble to the sky and clean and pretty middle-high tones.
