Despite being a young team, the Marlins boast an impressive history and a perfect postseason record - in both seasons they have qualified for the postseason they took home the World Series title (1997 and 2003). Marlins Park
The Miami Marlins play all their home matches at the state-of-the-art Marlins Park. The stadium opened in 2012 and has a capacity of just over 37,000, making it the third-smallest stadium in MLB. As it is such a new stadium it features lots of modern features such as a retractable roof, aquariums, a swimming pool and more. It is also one of the 'greenest' stadiums in the MLB. Miami Marlins World Series
The Fish can be incredibly proud of their World Series successes. In 1997 the Marlins set a record by reaching the World Series in only their fifth season and they then went on to defeat the Cleveland Indians 4-3 to clinch their first title, making them the first wild card team to ever win the World Series. The Marlins then went on to defeat Baseball giants the New York Yankees in 2003 to claim their second title. Interestingly, the Yankees actually outscored the Marlins and is the last team that the losing team has outscored the winning team in a World Series.
